The hardest walk you can make is alone. But it’s the walk that will make you stronger.
In the end, all I learned was how to be strong alone…Ending a long shared relation is never easy. It makes you sad, heartbroken and empty at times. But sometimes ending a relation is the best thing you can do.
Sometimes the worst place you can be is in your own head. And then I think that maybe I was designed to be alone.
“As for now I’m gonna hear the saddest songs and sit alone and wonder.”
“The person who tries to keep everyone happy often ends up feeling the loneliest.”
“Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.”
“Sometimes I just want to disappear and see if anyone would miss me.”
Lonely is not being alone, it’s the feeling that no one cares.
If you want to be happy, learn to be alone without being lonely. Learn that being alone does not mean being unhappy. The world is full of plenty of interesting and enjoyable things to do and people who can enrich your life.
“I enjoy being alone, my soul is at peace in the silence.”
“Loneliness adds beauty to life. It puts a special burn on sunsets and makes night air smell better.”
“We’re born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we’re not alone.”
Learn to be alone and to like it. In the end, all I learned was how to be strong alone.
“Loneliness is my least favorite thing about life. The thing that I’m most worried about is just being alone without anybody to care for or someone who will care for me.”- Anne Hathaway
“Loneliness expresses the pain of being alone and solitude expresses the glory of being alone.”- Paul Tillich
“The loneliest moment in someone’s life is when they are watching their whole world fall apart, and all they can do is stare blankly.”
“Your life will get better when you realize it’s better to be alone than to chase people who don’t really care about you.”
“You keep a lot to yourself because it’s difficult to find people who understand.”
The worst part of holding the memories is not the pain. It’s the loneliness of it. Memories need to be shared. If you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it’s not because they enjoy solitude. It’s because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.
